Nicole Madani was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in February of 2007, to serve as Assistant Secretary for External Affairs for the State and Consumer Services Agency, where she coordinates the Agency's outreach efforts. 

Prior to this appointment, she served as a Deputy Appointments Secretary in the Office of Governor Schwarzenegger since 2003, handling appointments for the Health and Human Services Agency and Education.  Nicole was a Finance Manager for HMS Blue from 2002 to 2003 and a Financial Analyst for Paramount Pictures from 2000 to 2003.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from UCLA.
