Kathleen Webb, Director of Office of the Insurance Advisor
Kathleen Webb was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on January 11, 2006 to serve as Director of the Office of the Insurance Advisor, within the State and Consumer Services Agency. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Webb was a twenty year veteran in the insurance industry working for State Farm Insurance in the capacity of claims management, regional catastrophe coordinator, agent and statewide grassroots coordinator, all within California. Ms. Webb is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designee and maintains her California Resident Insurance Producers license.
As a member of the State and Consumer Services Agency executive team, Kathleen serves as the Information Security Officer, Business Continuity Coordinator and as the Secretary’s risk management advisor for the largest and most diverse Agency in state government.
Ms. Webb has served as a member of public boards, including the Girl Scouts, and is currently serving on the board for the California Center for Civic Participation – host for youth civic education programs throughout California (Capitol Focus) and the Annual California Roast in Sacramento.
A fourth generation Californian, Ms. Webb received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, while also representing the school as a student athlete.
